I kayaked with sea lions and camped with curious foxes at the uninhabited Channel Islands. Hiked to find the perfect burrito at the end of the trail. Practiced yoga at 9,000 feet. Met artists who rent out remote fields for live art experiences in Colorado. I also love turning dining enclaves into research and trips to where the sand meets the sea. I’m never not perfecting my packing list (yes, carry-ons only), whether it’s travel aimed at wandering through art galleries in Portugal or backcountry skiing in Aspen.
